About Us Wild Onion Spice Company is a growing Chicagoland based purveyor of a full line of premium spices, spice blends, sea salts, dried mushrooms, fruits, nuts, extracts, oils, and other specialty products. We are proud of our comprehensive product list and will seek out items to meet our customer needs. The company serves the food service industry, including restaurants, caterers, banquet facilities, educational and healthcare institutions, as well as food manufacturing companies. Products are available in small shakers, tubs, jars, and bulk packaging. Selected products can be custom labeled. Wild Onion Spice Company is owned and operated by chef Pete Medenis. Pete graduated from the Joliet College Culinary Arts Program and worked fourteen years as a chef in the Chicagoland and Kalamazoo, Michigan areas. His culinary background enables him to provide professional consultation on the spice needs of his customers. Although the company is only two years old, Pete has more than a decade of experience in the food brokerage and distribution business, which has assisted him in serving a wide range of customers. Wild Onion Spice Company is based out of Brookfield, Illinois and delivers products throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Products can be shipped locally, to the Midwest, and nationwide.
